Initially, I was sceptical about doing an online course for my renewal, but it became apparent very quickly that I found that it was superior, as all distractions that had been present on classroom refreshers had been removed and allowed the Instructor to go through each stage thoroughly. Each refresher I had done previously, was populated by many operators who all were local to the training facility, all knew each other and discussions were primarily driven through their ongoing work scopes and who had done what wrong. This minimised, I believe, the purpose of the refresher and I know some important information was missed at these events. The Instructor was very clear and professional in his presentation of this refresher and ensured very clearly that everyone online was listening and encouraged to engage. Enjoyed and most importantly this course refreshed and improved my knowledge of current/new legislation and the expected Industry standard whilst carrying out the activities.
