RSPH Level 3 Award in Asbestos Surveying

This is a formal asbestos surveying qualification designed by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) to provide the theory and practical knowledge, and the skills required for surveying buildings for asbestos and developed around HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide.
This qualification is approved by the qualifications regulator, Ofqual.

UKAS document RG 8, ‘Accreditation of Bodies Surveying for Asbestos in Premises’, states that all asbestos surveyors must hold formal recognised qualifications (in addition to demonstrable knowledge, experience and in-house training). This qualification is recognised by UKAS for this purpose.

Candidates can take this qualification at an Asbestos Removal Contractors Association venue throughout the year. ARCA also offers the option to gain this RSPH qualification by undertaking remote training followed with a centre-based exam day, or by undertaking one day of assessments, the exam day only option.
